There’s something special about finding simple things that bring you joy…Like some pretty flowers in a planter box or an alley that looks as if it leads to an enchanted place. While, in Carmel this past weekend, I found just that. I strolled down the cobblestone sidewalks and found simple little treasure on every block. I loved the mix of vintage architecture and the almost fairytale-like feel this town possesses.
If you saw Yesterday’s blog post, you know that I recently took on photography as a hobby, and were able to see some photographs I captured at the beach in Carmel and of my parents. Today, I thought I would share with you some more shots from Carmel I took while exploring the streets and shops with my family:

I have always loved walking on the beach. There is something peaceful about that salty, ocean smell combined with the crisp, early morning breeze. The stunning scenery and the thunderous sounds of waves pounding on the sand awaken me to the beauty God has created. I’m constantly in awe of His creation and how He continues to share these simple yet special moments with me.
Recently, I got a new camera for my YouTube videos. This camera has inspired me to take on a new hobby- photography. It’s a thrilling experience, capturing glimpses of creation, and moments of contentment of people I care about. I thought I would start to share with you my journey of learning how to use my camera and practicing my new beloved hobby…
This past weekend, my husband and I met my family in Carmel, CA to attend my cousin’s wedding. We decided to stay the night in Carmel and spend the next day exploring. Carmel is a charming ocean-front town. Here are the photos I captured during an early morning walk on the beach of my parents and the breath-taking ocean views:
