Hey Lovelies! I have always loved celebrating St. Patrick’s Day every year since I was a kid. My mom would make a delicious corned beef with cabbage and put up shamrock decorations. This Irish meal is one of my favorite and I have definitely carried on the tradition of decorating from my Mom. Today, I have a few decor ideas and some recipe links you need to try for St. Patrick’s Day:
DIY Shamrock Banner
This is a fun way to add some Irish spirit into your home. I put mine on my dining room hutch. You can purchase everything you need to make this from the dollar store (it only costs $3 to make!) Watch the DIY, here.
A simple tablescape idea, is to use different vases and pots to hold green flowers and stems. Looks perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, but it can be used all throughout Spring, as well! I placed all my flowers on top of a burlap table runner. See how I made my potted flowers, here.
Place Setting Idea
I kept things simple with the place setting. I bought these green place mats from the dollar store- they aren’t something I would normally buy, but when they are paired with everything, I thought they looked great! Then I used white plates, and tied all the silverware together with a burlap ribbon.
My menu for St. Patrick’s Day includes Buttered Yellow Potatoes (see my recipe, here), Corned Beef with Carrots and Cabbage (Allrecipes.com), Irish Soda Bread (Allrecipes.com), Irish Butter Shortbread Cookies (Rachel Gaffney’s), and Irish Apple Cake (The Kitchen McCabe). For all the baking, I substituted gluten free flour for regular flour and coconut sugar for regular sugar. Everything turned out delicious!
I hope you found some inspiration for St. Patrick’s Day in this post. Let me know if you try anything out! I uploaded a DIY St. Patricks Day Decor + Recipes video on my channel today, you can watch it here. Also, I have a DIY St. Patrick’s Day Decor video I uploaded a couple of years ago, if you are looking for more ideas.
A couple of days a ago I posted a video on my Loveli Life YouTube channel sharing my favorite marriage books. All of them are faith-based, as my husband and I are christians and strive to live out a biblical marriage. I thought I would share with all of you the books I mentioned:
It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a favorites video…I can’t believe I used to film these once a month! Anyways, I have a lot of new favorites from Summer and thought I would share 10 of them with you in my latest video. I might even be giving away one of my favorites in collaboration with Cirrus Fitness 😉 Here are few sneak peeks:

There’s something special about finding simple things that bring you joy…Like some pretty flowers in a planter box or an alley that looks as if it leads to an enchanted place. While, in Carmel this past weekend, I found just that. I strolled down the cobblestone sidewalks and found simple little treasure on every block. I loved the mix of vintage architecture and the almost fairytale-like feel this town possesses.
If you saw Yesterday’s blog post, you know that I recently took on photography as a hobby, and were able to see some photographs I captured at the beach in Carmel and of my parents. Today, I thought I would share with you some more shots from Carmel I took while exploring the streets and shops with my family:
